eATTENDANCE Manager

For comprehensive, flexible time recording and complete resource management

Management of your Employees

Efficient planning of your workforce is crucial for the effective day to day running of your business. Having the right information in the right place at the right time can make all the difference.

STANLEY eATTENDANCE Manager will provide automatic calculations of hours worked, breaks and overtime in real-time, ensuring your system is always up to date. It is also able to simplify routine workforce management tasks such as adapting working times to seasonal requirements, comprehensive holiday planning absence management, and matching resources to demand, all of which are critical to business efficiency but can be time consuming, costly to manage and a drain on HR resources.

Web functionality

STANLEY eATTENDANCE Manager uses the most advanced and up to date secure web technology which allows effective real-time communication between employees and HR, wherever they have access to the internet.

eAttendance Manager is fully web enabled, meaning that only a modern web browser is required to access all the features. There are no components to install or update on the users' computers.

Using the employee self service application, employees are able to make requests for absences, holidays and amend any bookings, all via the web. Management can then quickly and efficiently pass approval for the request and inform the requester at the click of a button.

Employee self service gives empowerment to your employees and cuts down on administration. This frees up time for managers, allowing them to concentrate on core activities, which in turn helps to increase overall productivity.

Integration

STANLEY eATTENDANCE Manager has the added benefit of being able to integrate with other systems such as Payroll and HR. Linking your time and attendance system to Payroll will reduce the time, effort and costs associated with each payroll run whilst reducing or eliminating data entry errors. Being SAP Accredited, STANLEY eATTENDANCE Manager also has the ability to integrate with SAP systems and take advantage of SAP time and attendance module.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

STANLEY eATTENDANCE Manager is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, which is hosted off-site in a secure data centre so you don’t have to worry about providing a suitable server or other network infrastructure. Furthermore, STANLEY eATTENDANCE is accessible whenever you have a computer or smart device with an Internet connection.

The SaaS solution is accessed using a secure connection and operates using minimal network and processor resource. All processing takes place on the SaaS server. This means it will happily function even if you have slow Internet connection or low specification computers. SaaS backups, server maintenance and disaster recovery programmes ensure all your data is in safe hands.

SaaS solutions are ideal when capital expenditure budgets are tight or not available. This service is based on a monthly fee, providing you with the flexibility to update or change your system requirements and only pay for what you actually need. Monthly fees are tax efficient and easy to plan for.

Please see the System Requirements section for further details on how SaaS drastically reduces the requirements on customer IT systems.

Terminals & Readers

Employees usually clock-in and clock-out using a hardware terminal, although there is also the option to use the web terminal to enable employees to clock-in or clock-out using their computer.

Our terminals communicate via the Internet to our data centre. Only an Internet connection is required, and this can be a simple broadband connection.

The terminals can also provide additional information to the employee, such as holiday remaining or flexi-time balance and can also be used for absence clocking e.g. Off-Site Visits.

STANLEY offer several terminal models, with support for certain legacy terminals for customers who are upgrading from STANLEY ZEUS. We can offer advice to help you to choose the model that best fits your organisation's needs. Multiple terminal models can be combined on the same eATTENDANCE Manager system to accommodate differing needs across your organisation. Each terminal will have an internal or external reader.

IT8200 ProxWe offer readers that support proximity cards and fobs. Our standard offering is a KeyPACTM reader that provides a fast, convenient and reliable solution using either credit card sized cards, either pre-printed or printable, or heavy-duty fobs that can be attached to the employee's key ring. The KeyPAC cards can be presented to the reader whilst still inside the employee's wallet. We can support third party proximity cards where a customer has already issued cards/ fobs for another system. The most common are HID and MIFARE®.

IT8200 FingerprintOur fingerprint reader provides a cost effective and convenient biometric solution. With a fingerprint reader, there are no cards to forget, lose or damage which can reduce administration costs. Fingerprint readers combat "buddy clocking" and ensures that employees' hours are recorded fairly and accurately. Employees simply place their finger on the reader when they want to clock-in or clock-out. The terminal will display the employee's name along with any other information that has been configured (e.g. flexi-time balance) to confirm that the clocking has been successful.

EyeLock EyeSwipe NanoThe EyeSwipe-Nano reader is a state of the art biometric solution that uses a person's iris (the coloured part of the eye) to quickly and accurately identify the employee. It is replacement for a proximity, magnetic stripe or similar reader with the added advantage removing the requirement to carry cards or remember PINs. Matching is performed on the unit and it has enough capacity to store 50,000 eye pairs.

The EyeSwipe-Nano is the ultimate defense against buddy clocking. This will help to increase employee productivity and save on paying unnecessary overtime. No more wasted administration time issuing replacement cards or excuses for being late e.g. I have forgot my card.

Iris scanners are not to be confused with retina scanners. The EyeSwipe-Nano uses a pair of video cameras to capture high resolution images without any risk to the eye. The Iris contains more biometric data than any other biometric measurement other than DNA.

The EyeSwipe-Nano is a no-touch solution, preventing the spread of infections and is ideal where employees work with oil, grease or dirty materials.

eATTENDANCE Manager Screenshots

A small selection of product images is given below.

This is a collection of Widgets (Windows) that cater for many everyday tasks such as inserting bookings, entering absences, viewing balances, clocking in or out using the web terminal and viewing whether colleagues are in.

eAttendance Manager Home workspace

eATTENDANCE Manager follows a “management by exception” paradigm. Employees who work and clock their normal hours are automatically processed and do not require any input from the user. Exceptions occur when employees fail to clock, take unscheduled absences, work overtime that requires approval or have other attendance that is outside the norm. The user will be alerted to these types of event automatically by eATTENDANCE Manager.

This widget highlights where employees have not clocked according to the schedule, have overtime that requires approve or other anomalies.  Clicking an entry will allow the user to make the necessary adjustments such as adding in missing clockings, approving or rejecting overtime or other changes.  A handy "Send e-mail" link allows the suet to send an e-mail to the employee(s) concerned.

eAttendance Manager Update navigator

Employees can make their own requests for holidays and absences using this widget.  Requests are automatically sent to supervisors for authorisation.

eAttendance Manager Diary update

This provides an overview of team members in one easy to use view.  Various information can be shown, such as absences, daily plan, overtime etc.  In this example the user has selected absences so that they can check which team members have already booked an absence before approving or rejecting an absence request.

Report Generator

Reports are easily generated by simple tick boxes, and can output to the screen, printer, PDF, Excel and other formats.  They can also be emailed.

eAttendance Manager Report generator

To make the system more user friendly, the default text can be adapted, for example changing “Absent on a working day” to “Absent without an absence reason”.
