How does an intruder alarm work?

- Bells-only alarms will ring/alert if a motion sensor has been triggered but will not contact anyone (such as the police or you).
- Dialler intruder alarms will automatically call you, or the nominated person when the alarm is triggered.
- Smart alarm systems will message your smartphone or a designated person.
- Monitored alarm systems - a Monitoring Centre can act or call the police if the alarm goes off.
